Executive Order to Limit Foreign Influence in U.S. Higher Education (April 24)

On Wednesday, April 23, an executive order (EO) was issued to address concerns about foreign influence at U.S. higher education institutions. The order strengthens federal reporting requirements and enforcement mechanisms regarding gifts and funding provided to U.S. colleges and universities from foreign sources. Wake Forest officials continue to follow this as well as other federal policy changes regarding higher education.
