Engage
Work closely with federal, state, and local officials to actively monitor and respond to issues and legislation relevant to higher education, research, and innovation.
Support the work of the Wake Washington Center in its mission to raise the profile and tangible presence of Wake Forest University in Washington, D.C.
Advocate
Articulate the University’s policy agenda, priorities, and contributions in research, workforce and economic development, and postsecondary education.
Work in partnership with peer institutions and associations to build coalitions surrounding higher education programs and priorities.
Coordinate
Coordinate University activities and engagements with elected officials and policymakers at the national, state, and local levels.
Facilitate on- and off-campus interactions between policymakers, University officials, and students.
